Description
A frozen blend of berries, pineapple, sour mix, mint infused simple syrup and tequila makes for the most refreshing summer drink you could imagine. These Tequila Slushies are just the right amount of sweet and tangy and I guarantee you’ll be craving them all summer long!

Mint Infused Simple Syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
Slushies
- 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
- 750ml bottle of silver tequila
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries
- juice of 1 orange
- juice of 2 limes
- juice of 1 lemon
- fresh mint – optional garnish
Instructions
Mint Infused Simple Syrup
- Combine sugar, water and mint leaves in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Allow to simmer for 1 minute then remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Pour the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass jar and let cool completely.
Slushies
- Place pineapple cubes in a large jar then add the bottle of tequila. Let sit at room temperature with an air tight lid for at least 24 hours.
- Add 1 cup of the infused pineapple, berries, citrus juices and 1/2 cup of mint infused simple syrup to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately with a slice of fresh fruit and garnish of fresh mint. Enjoy!
